The weekend in photos.  Charlie and Heidi snuggled up on the couch.

Jack and I had a good walk with Heidi at the dog park on Saturday.  The sun was shining and it was lovely outside.

Charlie had his long walk yesterday, in the neighborhood.  This storm pond is one of my favorite places to walk to with him.  There are lots of trees and birds.

The bloody cat got into the drawer when it was pulled out last night and didn't want to get out.  Not much else going on.  Jack had his swimming lesson on Saturday morning and I'll take the dogs to the dog park shortly, before my pottery class.  I'm loving my pottery class.  It's nice to learn and be creative.  I have work to do on Jack's next quilt, but I'm waiting for a cold day.  I just looked at the seven day forecast and it looks like next weekend will be those cold days.  Yay.

  1. I always think that when I'm in the self-checkout line at Lowes. I see myself in the camera, and think oh my god, is that what I look like?

  2. I'm so glad you're liking pottery. That's wonderful!
I just don't look in the mirror.

  3. Yes, snow looks lovely from a distance!

I met a friend on the weekend who is working as a teacher in a so-called low stimulus school for kids with ADHD. She showed me pictures of the classrooms, grey carpeted floors throughout, individual white desks, grey chairs, bare white walls. In some classrooms, there are partitions between the solo desks so that pupils can sit away from the others. She said it really works well, the kids like it and can finally concentrate.

  6. I look at the mirror in the morning to shave but I don't 'see' the overall reflection.
The footprints in the snow indicate there was a parting of the ways.

  7. Great picture of the doggos. The light was really good there, soft. Glad to read that you've been able to be outdoors some. Pottery sounds fun, perhaps I shall find a pottery class, after we get this wretched irrigation system sorted.

  9. Andy and I gave up looking in mirrors years ago. I wear a mask and hat when I go out. 😊

  10. Jack is getting tall! Frieda and Gatto get under the sink if I forget to slide the latch to prevent the doors from opening. There is no way I can get them out. Every day I ask myself, who is that old woman looking at me through the mirror?

  11. Snow and beautiful weather can't be beat! I'm glad that Jack enjoys walks. Kids need as much exercise as possible, even in the winter. Cats choose the strangest places to curl up!
