Good news finally. Both Lori and I have been granted temporary guardianship of Jack for six months. There's more stuff that needs to be done and addressed but we will be part of those discussions and decisions.
I am thankful. And I'm talking to a lawyer this afternoon.
Joining you in being thankful. Hope that the next six months give Jack the stability he deserves and that the coming year brings a good outcome for all involved.ReplyDelete
Great news! I'm glad to read this. I do have my doubts about Lori but you've said she doesn't have Gracie's issues and will be responsible, thus giving you and the Big Guy some respite. Little Ones are wonderful but exhausting.ReplyDelete
Oh, excellent! Glad you are speaking to a lawyer too.ReplyDelete
You are doing all the right things. May the system work and the outcomes reflect that!ReplyDelete
Hallelujah!! That is most welcome news for you and especially for little Jack!ReplyDelete
It's better that you and Lori are kind of "together" rather than being at loggerheads. This is surely best for Jack.ReplyDelete
Good start and well done for being such a fierce grandmother!ReplyDelete
Oh that is wonderful news! And that's one handsome puppy!ReplyDelete
This is perhaps the best that could have happened. It's not all on you, and you've said Lori takes good care of him, so I'm happy for you all.ReplyDelete
Also, I've been looking a dog faces and dog eyes differently ever since reading Vivian Swift's account of painting Steve's Olga! That is one soulful dog.ReplyDelete
I hope this arrangement works well for all of you. I love the photo of your dog! xReplyDelete
So glad to hear favorable results that are in Jack's best interest, I do Hope the Arrangement works out and the visit with the Lawyers is productive.ReplyDelete
Thank you for your private message Nurse Lily. I am sending more virtual hugs your way.ReplyDelete
