I may be turning into a hag fish. These fish produce copious amounts of slime or mucous and are considered a delicacy in South Korea.
An accident involving a truck which was carrying hag fish occured in Oregon in 2017. The amount of mucous is truly epic in the photo, as is the mucous production in my sinuses right now.
You poor girl ... running sinuses is such a pain in the ass! Every morning I start out blowing my nose off ... I should have taken out stock in non-lotion Puffs cause I go through tissues like crazy!
ReplyDeleteSo how is little Jack doing? Is his nose running like an open faucet too? Poor baby boy!
Hope you shake the crud soon! I know it's not fun at all!!
Oh, goodness! I gagged when you mentioned that it's a delicacy in South Korea. It looks like mutant slug. Hope you can kick this soon! It IS incredible how much mucus the body can produce...and unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteThat is oddest set of photos I've seen in a while. The car is quite extraordinary - it looks like it's been covered in eels
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel - exactly - although thankfully for me it's almost over. I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThink of all the mucus as being a slippery carpet your body is attempting to usher the illness out of your body on.
ReplyDeleteWhat? That doesn't help?
I'm so sorry. I hope things begin to dry up there soon. I know you must be so miserable.
Mucus, phlegm, cancer and Donald Trump - not God's most admirable creations. Hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteFeel better, Pixie woman. Your body in its wisdom is telling you to rest.
ReplyDeleteDear God! And I thought slugs were bad! Hope you feel better. :)
ReplyDeleteYikes!! Sinuses go overboard, don't they!! They mean well but don't seem to know when to stop.
