Sunrise yesterday morning.  It has been very cold here for weeks but this morning we woke up to a warm day.  The dogs are so happy and have been playing outside, wrestling and growling, and having a good time.  When I'm done here, I'll take them both for walks.

Really not much going on here.  I have a new computer and my husband spent a lot of time setting it up and transferring all of my files, but I hate change and things are slightly different.  I'll cope:)

We have been Jackless for almost five days and it's been strange and relaxing at the same time.  I also took a break from Katie and our Sunday lunch this past weekend.  I called her house though and she was happy and relaxing which is good.

My house is clean but quiet.  I slept in this morning, but no hugs.  I think I prefer messier and morning hugs.  Jack will be home this afternoon and talk of soccer will start up again.  He has everything laid out on our bench by the front door so he won't forget about soccer, as if.  He got goalie gloves for Christmas and cannot wait to try them out.

My husband and I were talking about Jack last night.  My husband works with a lot of physicists and Jack, when introduced to one of them, informed her that infinity wasn't a number.  A discussion ensued.  We also talked about CGI vs. AI because we had a long talk in the car not long ago about CGI vs. AI.  That's what Jack likes to talk about, and soccer, and Roblox. He is also trying to sort out the differences between 4G and 5G. He's a funny guy, endlessly curious.  We are so screwed:)

  2. Oh, dear. I've been where you are now. My son came home from school one day, second grade, and casually started talking about the theory of relativity. I knew I was in for trouble. Screwed in an interesting way is how I'd put it!

    1. It's scary, isn't it. But your son turned out well, so that's good.

    1. Tomorrow is going to be awful, rain and melting, and then freezing tonight. Sigh.

  4. Sounds like Jack has just the right people he needs around him. We're so happy about warmer days too.

  5. Yep. Sounds like Jack and August could be friends.
I'm glad it warmed up for you a little bit.

    1. It's was very warm today (cold for you). That would be so nice if August and Jack could be friends.

  6. I don't know the difference between 4G and 5G. I only assume 5G is better, and so therefore, desirable.

    1. I don't understand the difference either but my husband's specialty is medical imaging so he understands thank goodness.

  7. Just think ... everyone will be learning stuff right along with Jack! Woohoo ... what fun!

  8. I'm glad you're getting a break in weather and in activity although it must also feel strange. Jack sounds interesting and brilliant--a great combination yet also tough in today's world. My older daughter was like that too and never quite fit in with her peers. Better now though.

  9. I shiver just looking at the snow.
The grandchild informed us this morning that there is endless stuff to discover on the planet and in the universe. Something new every day, we were told.

  10. It's awesome that Jack is asking those questions. I don't know the difference between 4G and 5G myself -- but the difference is, I don't care! (And I'm not saying that's a good thing.)

    1. He has so many questions and they're hard to answer sometimes, due to my own ignorance or question fatigue:)
