I'm a fan of tansy, even though it means that summer is passing. Soon the wild asters will bloom, if they haven't already, and it will mean that summer is coming to an end soon.
I'm leaving for a visit with my brother tomorrow. I'll stop in Revelstoke to take photos and hopefully get some good ones. Jack will be with his grandma and the dogs and hubby are staying home. I'm looking forward to visiting with my brother.
I hope.
I hope your visit with your brother goes well!
ReplyDeleteAmen.
ReplyDeleteOur wild asters are blooming already, though they don't really hit their stride until September.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's a wonderful visit with your brother. Here there is a crisp feel to the mornings, even when it's going to be hot later. My stargazer lily is finished blooming. It's blackberry season. Fall is coming.
ReplyDeleteRagweed usually signals the closing of summer where I live - the bane of folks with allergies.
ReplyDeleteI love this imagery of hope. Safe travels.

I don't think we have tansy here. I hope your visit to your brother goes well. Have fun too.
ReplyDeleteThat Photo is worth 1,000 Words, Sublime! Yes, Hope is gritty and determined.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have tansy here in Virginia, but there is a yellow blooming wildflower in September that appears along many roadsides. For me, it was always the signal of the beginning of the end of summer. Summer where I live is also September. The humidity drops, but it is still quite warm. I hope you enjoy your visit with your brother. Safe travels.
