Sweet little boy. Children are so sad when they're sick. Sad for us, at least. Beautiful blossoms- crab apple? Those potatoes look absolutely delicious.
Those potatoes look scrumptious; I would add cheese and sour cream because I overeat both those things. :( Not good for me! Poor Jack--I hope he recovers soon! My oldest grandson is getting a bike for his 4th birthday. Frankly, the idea terrifies me.
My hubby put sour cream on the potatoes. We got Jack a stryder bike a few years ago, no peddles and it's supposed to help them learn balance better. We'll see.
He's growing so fast, riding that bike! I swear he was JUST born. My niece Harper is a year old tomorrow, so I see how it goes. I hope he's feeling better, and your photos are simply sumptuous. I usually see them on my phone, as I often catch up on my blog buddies there, but today I am on my laptop and seeing everything a full size glory. I'm glad you plan to pursue your photography in retirement. You are gifted with the eye.

Yes, it is a crab apple although I didn't know what it was until you asked.
DeleteThe potatoes were so good.

Poor sweet boy. Hoping for a quick recovery. I second on the potatoes. I am going to have to make them.
ReplyDeleteThose potatoes were yummy. Jack is feeling better now. His fever has broken and the cough is almost gone.
DeleteThat photo of Jack on his bike, with his helmet and training wheels -- the epitome of childhood!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like such a beaver cleaver photo and you know how far from that his real life is.
DeleteBratkartoffeln! Food of my childhood. Hope young Jack is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteJack is much better now, thank you. He's talking to his video game now so he's obviously feeling better:)

The bacon and fried potato combo has stirred my appetite. Now I want some! Too cruel Nurse Lily!
ReplyDeleteThe recipe is in the reply I left for Ms. Moon, so you can try it for yourself:)
DeleteBlessed is the television at times.
ReplyDeleteThe potatoes look so good. We might call them roasties with bacon, even though I read that they are fried.
Blessed indeed. I can tell he's sick when he sits. By the afternoon he was feeling better and playing a video game.
DeletePoor Jack! I envy him for getting to spend the day in his pajamas, though.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of pyjamas as well and even though I wasn't sick, I spent most of the day in mine.
DeleteI love these pictures. Poor Jack, daycare has him getting sick so often. Hopefully everyone gets well needed rest.
ReplyDeleteAll the kids at daycare are so sharing when it comes to their germs:) I like to think of it as building immunity and exercising our immune system.
