Ahhhh, what a relief. I am grateful on behalf of that beautiful little boy that he has people who know what unconditional love is. A round of hugs for a system that is working for him.
Oh my, that is wonderful. And yet so sad that it was necessary. He is certainly loved.
Wow! That decision will make all the difference in the world to Jack. He is thriving under the care of those who can truly love him and take care of him, giving him the safety and security that a young boy needs. Love this photo of Jack!
That is such happy news! He will be safe, secure and loved!!
Hang on Pixie! He is wandering out into an ice cold Canadian pond in his wellington boots. I don't call that "safe"! No way!
Thank you and thank God for this wonderful news!! ❤️
This is such good news. People he can count on to keep him safe. I’m glad.
What a relief. Terrific news! Congratulations to all of you!
I am so glad. For Jack and for you who can now let that worry rest.
This is wonderful news.
Oh that is such fantastic news! It will take an awful lot of the worry about his future off your shoulders. Lucky Jack, and lucky you!
This is truly "saving the children" or at least this boy. Such good news.
That is wonderful news. xoxoxo Kate
Great news! So happy he will now have a stable environment to grow up in.
Hello: I have read your blog for some months now, and am so glad that little Jack is safely in your guardianship. How does it work, sharing guardianship with his other grandparents and his aunt? Who makes important decisions - e.g. medical care, travel, signing school permission slips? What if you disagree among yourselves? I wish your new family all the best and it is so wonderful that you are making this hugely positive change in Jack's life.
I don't know how it's going to work out to be honest but we now have rights which we didn't have before. I can take him to a doctor, he's never been to a doctor. I can sign as a parent for permission slips. I really don't think Gracie will be able to stay sober so at least Jack has a tribe now who can legally care for him.
Wonderful news. xx
Wow. I am relieved about him and his safety, and I'm worried about you. I send you so much strength and love and courage.
