Jack spent the weekend with us as Gracie was working. He and poppa had a lot of fun.
The wild roses are blooming. They smell like real roses; only five petals but the smell is big and beautiful.
We had a busy day at work and I'm too tired to write anything.
I love dandelions. We let ours grow, though I do usually try to get the seedheads into the compost bag before the seeds can blow away!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Beautiful fellas.
ReplyDeleteI'm just wondering who was having more fun - Jack or Poppa!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how dramatic your seasonal changes are! From cold and snowy to warm and sunny. Always appreciate your photos.
ReplyDeleteYou may be too tired to write but you shared a whole mood in that photo of the big guy and the little guy. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEverything here is lovely.
ReplyDeleteMy neighbour has a rose just like yours and as you say, it has a wonderful real rose smell. I love passing her garden on a warm summer evening and breathing in that delicious scent. My granddaughter asked me today 'what are those flowers called that you make wishes with' She meant a dandelion!
ReplyDeleteThose boys are having a great time in the sunshine. I hope you feel more relaxed by now! x
The Big Guy's legs are much too white. He should consider giving them a spray tan. You could apply it for him Lily - ensuring a consistent pine colour.
ReplyDeleteJust came across this comment you made some time ago. Fascinating about the connection with Paul McCartney (-:
ReplyDelete"... I had a dream about my Paul McCartney. In real life he bought part of my auntie's farm in southern England and planted it with hundreds of trees. My mother's ashes and my auntie's ashes are both sprinkled there. But in my dream I was telling someone about the trees he had planted and about the wild woods that are nearby.
Trees are good for the soul"
