Great pictures from your vacation. I never knew your were a motorcyclist. May I humbly suggest that you wear a protective helmet in future. Jack needs one too.

A few people have wondered about Jack and his back story, not sure how things have gotten to where they are now, so thought I would share. Jack is the son of my son and a woman he was with briefly. Both my son and Jack's mom are/were alcoholics and drug addicts. We have been caring for Jack, off and on, since he was born. In October 2021, Jack was taken into foster care briefly, when his mom was arrested for assaulting him. Since then we were appointed guardians, along with his maternal grandma and aunt. My son hasn't had contact with his son in almost three years, and he's in and out of jail on a regular basis. Jack's mom has been in rehab a couple of times and is trying to get her life back. Sadly, she also seems to have some mental illness which makes her very difficult to deal with, and I think that's why she self medicates with drugs and alcohol.
