I dreamt my mother called me last night from heaven. It was so nice to hear her voice. I've missed her so this past year. She told me she can call anytime.
I just wanted to stop in to thank you for putting the bug in my ear about reading The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert. I just now finished it and am still in tears. How, I HATED reaching the end of it. I shall have to carry this book around with me for a day or two before I can let Alma go. Or Ambrose. Or Prudence. I think, truthfully, that Prudence was my favorite character besides Alma. And dear Retta. Characters in books become my dear friends and I can't let Alma go just yet.
